As the country, and the world, are getting a grip over the shocking news of 'Black Panther' Chadwick Boseman's death, the spotlight is now shining brightly on the rising number of early-onset colorectal cancer (EAO-CRC) cases and the devastating impact of this disease. Cindy Borassi, the President of the Colon Cancer Foundation (CCF), was invited by Inside Edition to speak about Boseman's passing. Ms. Borassi said that since his passing on August 28, there has been a 450-500% increase in donations to the Foundation.

Boseman lost his battle with the disease four years after being diagnosed in 2016 when he was just 39 years old. A statement released by CCF can be found here: Chadwick Boseman Statement - Colon Cancer Foundation.
